Stephen and his crew have installed most every type of fitness flooring manufactured, in every setting imaginable. They specialize in many areas dedicated to sports flooring including: wood floors for gyms & basketball courts, particularly the custom inlaid team logos and games lines; rolled rubber flooring used in the free weight areas of gyms, all wood planking for use in many club baths, locker rooms and tanning areas as well as polypropylene carpet tiles used in the cardio areas of a typical health club. He also has many expert certifications in specific types of installations including the following:

Stephen became interested in specialized flooring when a friend asked him to assist in installing a rubber flooring product on the naval ships in San Diego. This led to eventual position with Centaur Flooring where Stephen began working as an Installation Foreman for the company. In this position, Stephen traveled throughout the U.S. as well as several other countries worldwide.

In 1998 Stephen joined the team at Commercial Fitness Products, Inc. where his exceptional skills were brought on board to complete the team’s vision of excellence. For the past fifteen years, Stephen has overseen all flooring projects we have managed including our exclusive consultation & design agreement with Workout Anytime Franchising, LLC. With Stephen’s outstanding work ethic and his commitment to nothing less than a perfect installation, he serves a critical role of the success of our company.

Stephen Cook, an immigrant from London England, attended Orange Coast College in Costa Mesa, California where he studied electronics. Stephen has lived an expansive life over the years. His record of accomplishments include: founding the very successful band Limey and the Yanks; becoming an Ordained Minister, obtaining his Commercial Multi-Engine Pilot's license, teaching martial arts in three styles and wiring DC-9 planes during the
Vietnam War.
