Steven C. Strickland has played a leading role in the growth of the fitness industry for over thirty years. As a student at Clemson University, Steven began his career as a top-grossing salesman and fitness trainer.  After several highly successful years, Steven was able to purchase his first health club, Nationwide Fitness Center, at the age of twenty-four. Over the next decade, Steven partnered with various industry leaders such as Health & Tennis Corporation of America, Bally Total Fitness, Inc., and Nautilus International to design, build and expand health clubs across the country, specifically the Atlanta, Chicago and Dallas market areas.   

                  In 1995, Steven founded Commercial Fitness Products, Inc., with the distinct goal of bringing all of his experience and knowledge into one dynamic entity that today is one of the industry's leaders in fitness flooring and gym layout & design. In addition to his serving as President of Commercial Fitness Products, Steven also co-founded Workout Anytime, Inc. in 1999 with fellow industry veteran, John Quattrocchi.  Five years later, after much success in development of the brand, they began franchising the concept through Workout Anytime Franchising Systems, LLC. Today the brand boasts over one hundred locations throughout the U.S. and Canada.

Steven’s vision of smaller "boutique" fitness facilities focused on customer convenience and value has become the leading trend of the industry.
                Steven’s commitment to excellence and his contribution to the fitness industry throughout his remarkable career were recognized when Steven was chosen to be the recipient of the fitness industry's prestigious Distinguished Service Award by the National Fitness Trade Journal.
